Following a rough outing against Winters at home, Pierce bounced back to defeat the Honkers.
JR Figueroa had a team-high nine points in the loss to the Warriors, although no other information was provided about the win over the Honkers.
The Bears (8-14, 3-4) were in Paradise on Feb. 3 then returned home for a rivalry game against Colusa on Feb. 5.

Struggles to close out games plagued the Yellowjackets in two Mid-Valley League losses last week.
Although no statistics were available from the game in Biggs, against Portola Diego Ambriz and Miguel Murillo tossed in 16 points apiece, while Eric Lievanos had 13 points and Moises Vargas chipped in with nine.
This week was a busy one for the ‘Jackets (7-14, 2-4) who hosted Maxwell on Tuesday, hit the road to play a non-conference game against Paradise Adventist on Wednesday ahead of tonight’s matchup in Hamilton City.

More lessons were learned by the young Eagles as after dropping a non-conference game in Chester to start last week, they also fell in two Pioneer League contests.
Although no statistics were available from the games against Chester and Plumas Charter, Emmanuel Andrade had 23 points while Nate Ramirez finished with nine points and eight rebounds against PAA.
Princeton (4-16, 2-8) had a rematch with Chester at home on Monday, was in Orland to play Providence on Tuesday and return home tonight to face Herlong.

The Bears went 1-1 in a pair of closely contested Sacramento Valley League contests last week.
At home to Winters last Monday, turnovers and missed shots hampered Pierce, who despite their struggles had the lead going into the fourth quarter, but unfortunately saw the game slip away.
Riley Delepierre led the Bears with 19 points, while Nita Rodriguez pulled down 23 rebounds in the loss.
Following up against Willows three days later, Jaslene Condrey dropped in a team-high 15 points and Delepierre added 10.
Destany Martinez finished with 10 rebounds and Mary Doherty cleared seven boards.
Pierce (10-14, 4-4) entertained Paradise on Feb. 3 before making the short trip to play Colusa on Feb. 5.
Williams 24 – Biggs 41 (1/27)
Williams 26 – Portola 65 (1/30)
Williams found it tough sledding last week as it fell to Mid-Valley League rivals Biggs and Portola.
In Biggs, Evelyn Guevara finished with eight points and six rebounds, while Jennifer Vega-Jimenez and Lupita Zuniga each had seven points.
Back on home court against Portola, Zuniga recorded a 17-point, 14-rebound double-double to lead the Yellowjackets.
Still in search of their elusive first win, Williams welcomed Anderson to town on Monday for a non-conference game, hosted Maxwell on Tuesday before heading to Paradise to play PAA on Thursday before concluding the week in Hamilton City tonight.
