Girls:
Colusa 1 – Williams 0 (1/20)
Lizbet Ayala’s lone goal propelled the RedHawks to a narrow victory over county and SVL rival Williams in their only match last week.
Sitting in second place behind Winters, Colusa (7-5-1, 2-1) was in Willows on Jan. 27 before returning home to face Winters in a match where a RedHawks’ win would force a tie atop the SVL standings.
Maxwell 3 – Paradise 5 (1/22)
Tied 2-2 at intermission, the visiting Bobcats put three in the back of the net in the second half to disappoint the Panthers in a Mid-Valley contest.
Statistics from the match were not made available.
This week, Maxwell (1-5, 1-3) hosted Durham on Monday before making the trip to Redding on Wednesday to play Shasta Charter Academy.

Boys:
Colusa 0 – Williams 2 (1/20)
Struggles to score plagued the RedHawks again last week as they could not net a goal against visiting Williams.
Colusa (3-8-2, 0-2-1) hoped to rectify that situation in Willows on Jan. 27 and ahead of their match against Winters on Jan. 29.
