Joceline Montero had a team high nine points, while Karina Perez corralled 14 rebounds and Miyah Reyes brought down nine, but it wasn’t enough to offset the Braves.
Against Williams, Reyes had a solid outing that included 15 points and eight rebounds, Perez cleared away eight more boards and had eight points, while Ruby Herrera pitched in with nine points.
Maxwell (10-9, 1-1) welcomed Quincy on Tuesday and faces Biggs tonight.

Princeton 33 – Westwood 13 (1/16)
Princeton brought an end to its eight-game slide by prevailing over Herlong and Westwood in a pair of Pioneer League contests.

Returning home to play Westwood, the Eagles kept the Lumberjacks winless on the season, although no statistics were available by the Pioneer Review print deadline.
Sitting third in the PL, Princeton (4-10, 3-2) was in Elk Creek on Tuesday and Chico on Wednesday to take on CORE Butte in a non-conference game before this evening’s matchup with Loyalton.
Boys:
Maxwell 40 – Hamilton City 59 (1/13)

Last week was not an ideal one for Maxwell, as it dropped two Mid-Valley League games.
On the road in Hamilton City, the Panthers were not only out-rebounded 36-23 by the Braves, but additionally committed nearly double the amount of turnovers, which did not bode well.
