COLUSA, CA (MPG) – Having posted a pair of wins against Sacramento Valley League rivals Durham and East Nicolaus, the only blemish for the RedHawk boys last week was a loss to Biggs in a non-conference game.
It was a good start to the new year for Colusa as it went on the road last Tuesday and edged Durham 41-39, although no other information was provided.
Yet, they were unable to replicate the success the following evening against visiting Biggs as they suffered a 44-58 setback.

Cooper Ayala had a team-high 14 points, while Cade Smith chipped in with eight points to lead the RedHawks as they struggled to knock down the outside shot and compete with the Wolverines’ physicality on the boards.
To its credit however, Colusa bounced back in its third game of the week to top East Nicolaus 47-39, but once again statistics were not available prior to the Pioneer Review print deadline.
Back at it this week, the RedHawks (7-8, 2-0) entertained Paradise on Monday, hosted Hamilton City in a non-conference game on Wednesday and head to Arbuckle this evening to square off against Pierce.
