Pierce Girls End 2025 with Win

Pierce’s Riley Delepierre drives to the basket during the Bears’ win over Lindhurst on Dec. 29. Delepierre poured in a season high 24 points.

ARBUCKLE, CA (MPG) – Playing at home on Dec. 29, the Pierce girls ended 2025 on a high note with a 64-16 rout of Lindhurst.

Scoring in transition early and often, the Bears used their height to an advantage on the boards that not only fueled their transition game, but also provided second chance opportunities on which they capitalized.

Rylie Delpierre outscored the Blazers with a season high 24 points, then made eight steals for good measure, while Nita Rodriguez turned in her best performance of the season with a double-double that included 15 points and 13 rebounds.

Jaslene Condrey finished with 14 points in Pierce’s largest offensive output of the season thus far.

Things got a little tougher in the new year though as the Bears made their way to West Valley’s New Year’s Tournament, which ran Jan. 2 and 3.

Pierce dropped last Friday night’s game 26-45 to Hoopa Valley then fell 21-52 to Ferndale in their first contest on Saturday although no statistics were provided.

The Bears played a second game on Jan. 3 against Biggs, however no other information was made available prior to the Pioneer Review print deadline.

Now officially back from winter break, Pierce (6-8) played its final preseason game in Yuba City on Jan. 6, then opened Sacramento Valley League play in Willows on Jan. 8.
