After easy wins over Winters and Live Oak to open SVL play, the RedHawks tested their skills against some unfamiliar opponents in the Arcata Invitational Varsity Tournament where they made it to the semifinal round before running out of gas.
The only statistics made available were from the match in Winters where Addison Lay had a game high nine kills, Elle Faris registered 12 aces and five kills while McKenna Azbill served seven aces and landed five kills.
Colusa (15-6, 2-0) was back at it this week with an SVL match at home on Tuesday against Paradise, a non-conference contest in Orland on Wednesday, before returning to Don Bransford Gymnasium to host first place East Nicolaus on Thursday.
