Starting off last week in exciting fashion, the RedHawks erupted for their highest point total of the season thus far as they outscored Sutter 12-2 in overtime to earn the victory.
Peyton Miller dropped 33 in the win, while Abby Coronado added 10 to the total.
Colusa then made its way to the Sutter Tournament where they went 1-2, although no statistics were provided.
After returning from winter break, the RedHawks (4-8) will open Sacramento Valley League play at home against Durham on Jan. 6.

Jocelyn Montero scored eight points in the Panthers lopsided loss to Hayfork, prior to the team entering play at the Los Molinos Block LM Tournament.

In their last games before the winter break, Pierce had a rough go of it at the Lady Trojan Classic.
No statistics were made available by the Bears (5-5), who are back in action on Dec. 29 at home against Lindhurst.

Struggles continued for the Yellowjackets, who dropped three games last week.
In Winters, Jennifer Vega-Jimenez finished with nine points and Evelyn Guevara pitched in with eight points to lead the ‘Jackets.
Returning home to face Paradise two night later, Lupita Zuniga turned in a nice performance with15 points, eight rebounds and six blocks, but it wasn’t enough to change the outcome.
Hosting its second team from ‘The Ridge” the following evening Guevara dropped in eight points and Jazlene Velazquez brought down 11 rebounds, but Williams still fell short against PAA.
Following the winter break, the Yellowjackets will make the long trip to Portola on Jan. 13 as they look for their first win of the season.

After falling to Hayfork last Monday, the Panthers headed to Los Molinos’ Block LM Tournament where they went 2-1.
Vincent Orozco poured in a game high 24 points to pace Maxwell who came up short in the end.
Tanner Vierra chipped in with 11 points while Macklin Kuska finished a rebound short of a double-double with 10 points and nine boards.
In its first game in Los Molinos, the Panthers never got on track offensively, falling to Adventure Christian from Roseville.
Kuska dropped in eight points, while Vierra and Orozco both ended the contest with seven.
However, Maxwell bounced back to pummel Plumas Charter behind Vierra who went for 20 points along with Levi Velasquez and Orozco had 14 and 12 points respectively.
Rounding out play with a low scoring affair, Karter Burt led the Panthers with nine points as they prevailed over Providence (Orland).
Maxwell (6-3) will take 12 days off for winter break and return to the court on Jan. 2 at the Willows Tournament.
