All-League Volleyball Picks Announced

COLUSA COUNTY, CA (MPG) – With the 2025 volleyball season now in the books, leagues throughout the North State have released their respective All-League teams and included among them are 11 local athletes.

 

Sacramento Valley League

Colusa:

Colusa’s Abby Coronado was a force at the net for the RedHawks earning All-SVL honors.

Despite finishing fourth in the SVL, the RedHawks ended the season as the NSCIF D4 runner-up then made its deepest run to date in the CIF State Tournament, due in large part to its All-League selections Abby Coronado and Peyton Miller.

 

Against SVL opponents, Coronado finished with 107 kills, 39 aces, 32 blocks and 82 digs, while Miller tallied 129 kills, 16 aces and 102 digs.

 

 

Pierce:

Pierce’s Leah Charter was one of the top all-round players in the SVL this season.

In their final season for the Bears, Leah Charter and Magali Jauregui earned All-SVL honors for third place Pierce.

 

In 12 SVL matches, Charter recorded 107 kills, 18 aces, 11 blocks and 214 digs, with Jauregui handing out 314 assists, serving 23 aces and making 146 digs.

 

 

 

 

 

Pioneer League

Princeton:

Princeton’s Guadalupe Espinoza was a 2025 All-Pioneer League pick in her final season for the Eagles.

After a slow start to the season, the Eagles finished strong, tying for third in PL play and garnering four All-League picks including Guadalupe Espinoza, Reyna Sullivan, Jenna Silva and Sissy Winn.

 

Espinoza, the floor leader for Princeton, had 162 assists, 63 digs, 36 aces, 18 blocks and 22 kills, while Sullivan logged 101 kills, 46 aces and 37 digs against PL competition.

 

As part of the Eagles’ senior-heavy squad, Silva finished the regular season with 99 digs, 23 kills and 17 aces with Winn registering 30 kills, 27 blocks and 23 aces.

 

 

Mid-Valley League

Maxwell & Williams:

Maxwell’s Lylah Barrett was named to the 2025 All-MVL team.
One of the top middle blockers in the MVL, Williams’ Lupita Zuniga earned All-League honors for the
Yellowjackets.

 

Although no statistics were available for either team, the third place Panthers saw seniors Lylah Barrett and Olivia Roa recognized for their accomplishments, while for the fifth place Yellowjackets’ Lupita Zuniga merited a spot on the All-MVL team.
