PARADISE, CA (MPG) – Playing at the Sacramento Valley League’s tournament last Tuesday and Wednesday, two RedHawk singles players and one doubles team advanced to the NorCal playoffs, which are set tentatively for Nov. 1 at Foothill High School in Palo Cedro.

With the top four individual players advancing, Colusa’s Janell Garcia and Yali Cruz took second and third respectively to punch their tickets to the upcoming section tournament.
In addition, Garcia and doubles partner Emily Lopez finished second and will move on as well.
In the meantime, Colusa, the No. 2 seed in the NSCIF team playoffs hosted No. 7 Live Oak on Oct. 21 with the victor moving on to face the winner between No. 3 Anderson and No. 6 Las Plumas on Oct. 23.
