The RedHawks extended their win streak to six straight last week as they downed Winters in a Sacramento Valley League match before recording two non-conference victories as well.
In the 25-14, 25-9, 25-19 drubbing of Winters, Abby Coronado had 10 of Colusa’s 23 kills. Cecelia Mitchum served seven aces and made 10 digs, while Cindel Oliver handed out 13 assists.
Information from the other two matches were not made available.
This week, the RedHawks (21-10, 5-3) hosted Pierce on Tuesday and East Nicolaus on Thursday.
Pierce 3 – Willows 0 (10/7)
Pierce 2 – Durham 3 (10/9)
After a relatively easy 25-18, 25-18, 25-20 victory over Willows the Bears saw their chance for a share of the Sacramento Valley League championship fall by the wayside with a 15-25, 25-27, 25-23, 25-19, 10-15 loss to Durham.

In the win over Willows, Charlie Wayman finished with 10 kills, Rylie Delepierre had six and Destany Martinez pitched in with four aces.
Magali Jauregui had 18 assists and 12 digs, Leslye Velasquez ended the night with 17 digs while Leah Charter made 11 digs.
Against Durham, Pierce rallied from two sets down to force a decisive fifth sets, but 26 hitting errors proved to be its undoing.

Jauregui made 34 assists in facilitating the offense, Delepierre threw down 23 kills and made five blocks to lead the attack.
Charter led the defensive effort with 18 digs, Jauregui had 16 digs, Martinez 15, while Martinez and Wayman ended the match with 13 and 12 respectively.

Now sitting tied for second in the SVL, the Bears (21-8, 6-2) were in Colusa on Tuesday and rounded out the week at home on Thursday against Paradise.
