Time Flys

Our time in California is coming to an end. We will be back in a few months.

I have really enjoyed our time here in our beautiful little vacay spot.

The weekend was a bonus. Pals Sue and Deb, and sister Ann joined me for a ladies lunch. It was so good to have time together. We have too little time together these days.

We will journey now back to North Dakota and regroup for the holiday season. My kids and grandkids are so important to me. I don’t want to miss time with them.

I know we are blessed to have the best of both worlds.

I’ve faithfully done daily checks on projected weather along our route back to North Dakota.  So far so good as to passing through often snow/ice areas. There might be a few iffy places. But we’re old and retired so we can always stop if need be. It wouldn’t be the first time I’ve hunkered down and waited out a storm.

With the ongoing healing (month 8) of my dislocated ankle, I’m dubious about motivating the ice this year. I suspect I’ll be housebound as needed. There is a definite fear of falling again.

Don’t want to do it!

I’m so pleased to have had time with friends and family here. I’m already looking forward to our return and a longer stay.

We’ll have hopefully more time with those folks we missed this trip.

I am just so thankful for my life today.

Life is good today.
