Don’t Do It. . .

We all grew up being told not to do certain things. It was mostly for our own good. Most parents just wanted to protect their kids.

Maybe I should have listened when grandpa told us not to touch the electric fence enclosing the pigs.  We learn.

Now as adults we have to make our own rules and decisions. We weigh the options. Sometimes we are right, other times we unknowingly screw up anyway.

I recently updated my cell phone. Don’t do it. All of the easy-to-use programs changed, and I don’t know how the heck to maneuver around my phone.

My pal Carolan will visit from California soon.

I appreciate the fact that she cares enough to visit me every year even though I’m the one who moved away. I just hope I can keep up with her.

I’m still not walking without pain but I’m also stubborn (prefer determined), so I’ll give it my best shot.

Luckily, I know she loves me and will understand.

Good friends and family members who love you should just never be taken for granted. They won’t always be there.

Don’t live with any would’ve, could’ve or should’ve hanging over your memories.

Don’t do it.

Life is good today.
