It is What it is

To say I’m glad to be home is an understatement at best.

A very fast yet exceptionally long two weeks on the road coupled with 100 plus degree temperatures more than drained this old girl.

I loved time with my family, but I feel safest these days back in North Dakota.

It is what it is. Life is slower here, less pressured here.

Venturing out into the rest of the world can be a shock and a challenge.

I don’t know about others, but I for one don’t have a great deal of confidence in our world as we know it these days.

I have a friend who always says; not my circus, not my monkey when he has no control over an ongoing issue.

I feel that is an appropriate statement these days as we look at our own government and its leaders.

I don’t know which group will prevail in November. I pray every day that God’s will be done.

I do know that publicly slamming of one candidate or another is of no help to anyone. It’s vindictive and childish at best.

It is what it is as we move forward (or backwards).

Keep praying people. We’re going to need it the deeper we get into the mucked up mire of today’s political circus.

Still, I’m back in the nest and life is good today.
