It’s been a bright and sunny day: Easter 2023. After nearly six months of winter, cold, and snow, it’s melting. The sun is shining. The grandkids could hunt Easter Eggs outside this year. From the youngest to the oldest, it was a sight to behold. Nothing does my heart more good than to be surrounded by my babies. We were blessed with a beautiful day. The clan has come and gone. I even had time for an afternoon nap. I am grateful for many things.
Time with my family is at the top of the list. When the weather finally turns warmer each year, we all seem to have a surge of joy. New life starts to appear. Regrowth is strong. We used our new deck for the first time today. I can’t wait until it’s full-on summer with hours of leisure time out there.
Again, nothing is sweeter than the sound of happy grandkids playing out there. I am grateful. I am blessed, and I am loved. It just doesn’t get better than that.
Life is good today.■
