Sandra Jack

11/6/1945 - 06/29/2023

Sandra Jack, age 77, ascended to the spiritual world at her family home in Arbuckle, California, surrounded by family on June 29, 2023, at 1:42 am, born November 6, 1945, in Oak Harbor, Washington, to Earl and Jonanne Jack.

As a daughter of an Airforce Pilot, Sandra lived in many different countries and appreciated diverse cultures. At the age of 18, she left home in search of truth. In her early 20s, Sandra recognized Baha’u’llah as a messenger of God for this age and became a Baha’i. Sandra married the love of her life, renowned jazz pianist David Sadalana Tyesi, thus becoming a pioneer for interracial marriage.

Sandra and David shared two beautiful daughters, Bonnyfide Beatrice Tyesi and Sonja Grace Tyesi. Sandra held many administrative positions, including being an executive administrative secretary at S.C.E.O.C Solano County Equal Opportunity Counsel, but her most meaningful work was serving the Cause of Baha’u’llah. Sandra Jack fervently served the Bahai Faith in various capacities, such as an officer of the Local Spiritual Assembly and Auxillary Board Member Assistant.

She spearheaded and collaborated on committees such as Race Unity Day at the Railroad Museum in Rio Vista, California, and Martin Luther King Celebrations in Fairfield, California.

Sandra Jack will be remembered as a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, and handmaiden of the Cause. Sandra will join her beloved husband, David S. Tyesi, in the Garden of Happiness-The Abha Kingdom. She is survived by Bonnyfide Beatrice Tyesi, Sonja Grace Tyesi, Cassandra Precious Alverez, Jahri DeMandre Bankhead, Weshawee Sadalana Sanders-Tyesi, Ty Tyesi, Tao Sadalana Sool Sanders-Tyesi, Mateo Sadalana Shoghi Sanders-Tyesi, Ruhi Sadalana Splendour Sanders-Tyesi, and Issac Angelo Alverez.

In lieu of flowers, the family appreciates prayers and good deeds.
