Wilmer Westfall Coffman of Colusa passed away peacefully at home on January 17, 2022, with his daughter by his side.
Wilmer was born on May 6, 1923, to Dan and Gladys Coffman of Colusa. Wilmer graduated from Princeton high school in 1941. After graduation, he farmed until he was drafted into the United States Army, he was discharged in 1946 and returned to Colusa County where he engaged in farming in Colusa and Glen County for the next 40 years.
Wilmer married Eleze Butler on June 11, 1960 in Colusa, they have two children, Brian and Laura Coffman.
Wilmer retired and spent most of his time in Old Station, Ca where he enjoyed his love of fishing and gardening.
Wilmer was predeceased in death by his wife, Eleze Coffman, his parents, Dan and Gladys Coffman, and his siblings: Eva, Cleo, Cleatus, Jeanette, Calvin, Geraldine, Harold, and Earl. He is survived by his children, Brian (Stephanie) Coffman and Laura Coffman, his Grandchildren: Nick King, Brittney King, Hanna Schneider, Allie Amaro, Cody Coffman, Ridge Coffman, Haley Leue, his great grandchildren: Hunter king, River, and Reign Heryford, Adrian, and Khalia Coffman, and numerous niece, and nephews.
Private services will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Future Farmers of America or Colusa County Farm Bureau. ■
