Matthew James McDonald, 56 of Gridley, CA, passed away July 4, 2023.
Matt was born on August 6 1970 in Burlingame, CA to Lynn (Guiver) and Bob McDonald.
Matt graduated from Burlingame High School before proudly serving his country in the US Marines. After a honor-able discharge, Matt was a foreman for the Iron Workers Union. In 2004, Matt relocated to Gridley, CA, where he enjoyed boating, hunting, fishing and his Labrador Retrievers. Matt was full of life, a friend to all. In the summer of 2006, Matt married Kimberly Breceda and enjoyed 17 years of marriage.
Matt is preceded in death by his mother, Lynn McDonald.
Matt’s memory will live on with his wife, Kim, his father, Bob McDonald, his sister, Rachele McDonald, many cousins and friends.
Services will be held August 24, 2023, at 10:00am at the Biggs-Gridley Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will follow at the Gridley Moose Lodge.
