COLUSA, CA (MPG) – Colusa County has launched a new interactive Road Closures Map following recent winter storms that closed several county roads, Colusa County has launched an interactive Road Closures Map to replace its previous list-based system.
The new online map replaces the county’s former text-only road closure page with a visual map that displays current conditions on county-maintained roads. Users can navigate by location and view road status at a glance. Closed roads appear in red, and additional details, including location and status, are available by clicking on a highlighted segment.
The map applies only to county-maintained roads. It does not include state highways such as Highway 20, Interstate 5 or Highway 45, nor does it track city-maintained streets.
Updates occur during normal county business hours, Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Conditions that change outside those hours may not appear until staff update the system.
For information on state routes, residents are directed to use the Caltrans QuickMap. After-hours road closure information is available through the Colusa County Sheriff’s Office at (530) 458-0200.
