WILLIAMS, CA (MPG) — The Williams Fire Department continued a long-standing tradition of recognition during its Annual Ladies Night event, honoring members for service and dedication to the community.
Among those recognized was Richard Lau, who received Exempt Member status for his years of commitment to the department. Lau was presented with a plaque by Williams Fire Chief Jeff Gilbert during the ceremony.
The department also named Keenan Jorge as Senior Firefighter of the Year, Braulio Rivera as Cadet Firefighter of the Year and Eduardo Ramirez as Firefighter of the Year.
According to the department, the annual event serves as an opportunity to celebrate the service, professionalism and volunteer spirit that support fire protection efforts in Williams.
