Members of the Colusa Rural Firefighters Association and the Sacramento River Fire Protection District held their annual Ladies Night and awards dinner Saturday, Jan. 24. As part of a new tradition, the district conducted a pinning ceremony recognizing four members who advanced in rank. Chief Winters pinned new badges on, from left, Capt. Jeff Chambers, Capt. Heath Krug, Lt. Hayden Harter and Lt. T.J. Gomez, joined by family, friends and significant others. The four officers have served the citizens of Colusa County for a combined total of nearly 100 years.
