COLUSA, CA (MPG) — The Colusa County Office of Education Board awarded a Colusa Adult School diploma to Jessica Garcia during its meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 12.
Garcia recently enrolled in the Adult School to complete the final credits she needed for graduation. Staff said she returned to school with a clear goal in mind.
“She’s only been in our school for a short time, she didn’t need very many credits,” said Michelle Bingham Adult Education Coordinator. “So I asked her what her plans were for moving forward and she said there’s a job she really wants in special education.”
County Superintendent of Schools Mike West presented the diploma.
