Sacramento Valley Museum Hosts Annual Bottle Event

WILLIAMS, CA (MPG) — Collectors and history enthusiasts filled the Sacramento Valley Museum on Oct. 3 and 4 for the annual Antique Bottle Show, an event that has become a fall tradition in Williams.

The Edwards family display bottles and antiques unearthed at their home in the Sites area.

Attendance was steady and on par with previous years, organizers said, drawing a mix of local visitors and traveling collectors. About a dozen vendors displayed bottles, insulators, and antique household goods representing more than a century of regional history.

Cristy and Slim Edwards, who chair the event, showcased a table of bottles and artifacts unearthed with their children at their home in the Sites area. Their collection highlighted the kind of local discoveries that continue to inspire interest in the show year after year.

Among the exhibitors was a young collector from Arbuckle, offering a glimpse into the next generation of enthusiasts. While there were no special displays or competitions this year, visitors enjoyed exploring the vendors’ stories and the museum’s setting.
