Colusa defenders gang tackle Winters’ Joe Hawkins in the first quarter of the RedHawks’ game against Winters
on Oct. 3

Despite forcing the Warriors to punt on their first two possessions, the RedHawks could not get anything going offensively and as a result the homecoming crowd went home disappointed.

Unable to stop Winters as it built up momentum, Mason Jennings had six tackles with three assists and three passes defended, while Hunter Purvis made five solo tackles in what was a rough night for Colusa stat-wise.

RedHawk quarterback David Belmontes tries to run out of the tackle attempt by a Winters’ defenders.

Looking to end a three-game skid, the RedHawks (1-5, 0-2) travel to Durham tonight to take on the Trojans in a Sacramento Valley League matchup.
