Supervisors Approve Board Appointments, Reappointments

COLUSA, CA (MPG) — The Colusa County Board of Supervisors approved a series of board appointments and reappointments during a recent meeting.

Adam Shifflett was reappointed to the Air Pollution Control District Hearing Board to a three-year term ending Aug. 11, 2028. Shifflett has served since 2008 and was last appointed in 2022.

Diana Roach was reappointed to the Princeton Water Works District for a four-year term through Aug. 7, 2029. Roach said in her application she values the opportunity to continue serving and is proud of the improvements made during her two prior terms.

Jill Wright was reappointed to the Williams Cemetery District for a four-year term ending Aug. 7, 2029. Wright, who has lived in Williams since 1981, said she takes pride in the cemetery and enjoys helping with community events.

Brett Mayes was reappointed to the Williams Fire Protection District for a four-year term through Aug. 7, 2029. Mayes has served on the board since 2021.

Leslie Marsh was reappointed to the Cortina Creek Flood Control and Flood Water Conservation District for a four-year term ending Aug. 30, 2029. Marsh was last appointed in 2021.

Janet Dawley was reappointed to the College City Cemetery District for a four-year term through July 25, 2029. In her application, Dawley said she enjoys serving her community.

Two new appointments were made to the Holthouse Water District, with Cerena Lee and Jim Rickert each beginning four-year terms ending Dec. 7, 2029.

The supervisors also appointed Patti Ann Turner, Douglas J. Turner and John Dale Alvernaz to the Glenn Valley Water District, all to four-year terms through Dec. 7, 2029.
