Held on the last Saturday of each month at the Williams Grocery Outlet, 435 Vada Ct., the “Cars and Coffee” event is free to attend and welcomes all who enjoy classic, custom, or unique vehicles. The event is hosted by Grocery Outlet co-owner Brian Martinazzi, who purchased the store in November with his mother.
Martinazzi, a self-described car enthusiast, said the event started after he discovered how many locals shared his love for cars.
“I thought Cars and Coffee would be a lot of fun,” he said. “So here we are.”
Now entering its third month, the informal meetup continues to grow in popularity. Martinazzi provides free coffee, donuts, pastries, and fruit for attendees, creating a welcoming and casual atmosphere for car lovers and curious onlookers alike.
Weather permitting, the event is planned to continue year-round, as long as there is enough community interest. The next event is tentatively scheduled for Aug. 29.
A fun highlight of the event is the community’s “People’s Choice” recognition. For July, the award went to Chuck Grimmer for his 1969 Ford Bronco, built by Dream Fab Customs.
For Martinazzi, the goal is simple: bring people together, one car and one cup of coffee at a time.
