Despite having just two practices due to rain and the Thanksgiving holiday, the RedHawk girls showed they have potential in two losses last week.

Colusa’s Itzel Cruz challenges a Live Oak player in a match played on Dec. 3 in Colusa. Cruz scored the RedHawks’ lone goal.

Although no statistics were available from the match in Hamilton City, Itzel Cruz scored Colusa’s lone goal in the setback against visiting Live Oak.

 

Now under the direction of first year coach Rene Martinez, who played his high school soccer for the Lions, the RedHawks entertained Corning and Gridley on Dec. 10 and 12 respectively, prior to hosting the 2nd Annual Lady RedHawk Classic, which begins today.

Pierce 1 – Kelseyville 5 (12/3)

Tied 1-1 at intermission, the Bears let this one slip away as the Knights put four in the back of the net in the second half.

 

No statistics from the match were made available.

 

Pierce (0-1) was in Esparto for a non-conference match on Dec. 10, then traveled to Colusa for the Lady RedHawk Classic that runs Dec. 13–14.
