COLUSA, CA (MPG) – Assemblymember and Assembly Majority Leader Cecilla Aguiar-Curry tells her constituents at a coffee meet and greet at Caffeinated on Oct. 9. that she loves her job, which she considers service to the public. Aguiar-Curry spoke about issues and challenges in the diverse 4th District and the importance of legislators reaching across the aisle, not just members of the two major political parties, but leaders who see the needs of their constituents in rural areas as different from those living in urban centers. Aguiar-Curry is the primary author of Proposition 5, which, if passed in the Nov. 2 election, would lower the supermajority threshold to approve bonds for housing and infrastructure to 55 percent.
