The community came together on Saturday, July 27 to celebrate military veterans and their families at the Veterans Picnic in Veterans Memorial Park in Colusa. The Colusa VFW Post 2441 and the Maxwell American Legion Post 218 host the event annually as a fundraiser to support services for veterans. The event consists of a chicken and tri-tip lunch and a large raffle of items donated by local businesses and members of the community.
