MPR Pancake Breakfast/Easter Egg Hunt

The community is invited to Pancake Breakfast and Community Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 23, at Maxwell Elementary School, 146 North St., hosted by the Maxwell Park and Recreation District and Auxiliary Committee. Breakfast of pancakes, sausage, fruit, coffee, and juice will be available for $8, and will be served from 7:30 to 9:30 am with the Easter Egg Hunt following at 10 am. All proceeds from the breakfast will support the MPR Scholarship Fund for high school seniors. Children and youth should arrive promptly for hunting Easter Eggs with their own baskets or bags. Dementia and Alzheimer’s Support Group Meeting

The Dementia and Alzheimer’s Caregiver Support Group will meet from 10:30 am to noon on Feb. 27 (last Wednesday of each month), in the Fireside Room located next to the First Presbyterian Church, 326 Jay St., Colusa. The Stagehands Presents “The Odd Couple”

The Stagehands will present “The Odd Couple,” a play written by Neil Simon and directed by Lora Weekes, on Friday, April 5. Doors open at 6:30 pm; curtain up at 7:15 pm. Tickets are available at the door for $15. Stagehands Theatre is located on the Colusa County Fairgrounds; use 9th Street entrance.

Spring Time Photo Walk at East Park Reservoir

Calling all photo enthusiasts and nature lovers! All are welcome to enjoy a wonderful morning of springtime bliss and participate in a photo walk at East Park Reservoir in Stonyford, 4415 Sites Lodoga Road, at 10 am. The event is free, but you must register to attend. Access to the reservoir on this day is not open to the public. For more information, call Elly at (530) 458-0467.

WCCA Youth Art Show

The Williams Community Center Association, 860 C Street, will once again host the Joan Holybee Memorial Youth Art Show on Saturday, April 13, 10 am to 2 pm. The art show is open to all 7-12 grade students from Colusa County. Deadline for submissions will be Monday, April 8. Please label your pieces on the back with name, school, and grade. Turn your pieces in to your teacher or your school’s front office. There will be cash prizes for First, Second, Third and Best of Show. All types of art media are welcome!
