St. Patrick’s Dinner
Holy Cross Church will host its annual St. Patrick’s Dinner from 4:30-7 pm on Saturday, March 16, at the Arbuckle Golf Club, 5918 Hillgate Road. Corned beef, cabbage, carrots, potatoes, and salad will be served. Pre-sale tickets are $20 for adults or $25 at the door; $5 for children 7-12; no charge for children under age 6. Quilts Around the Block
Friends Around the Block Quilt Shop presents its annual Quilts Around the Block “A Beautiful Day in Our Neighborhood” on Saturday, March 16 from 10-4pm. Everyone is invited to participate in celebrating National Quilt Day by displaying or viewing colorful quilts in the front yards of homes and businesses in Colusa. Arbuckle Almond Fun Run
The 10th annual Arbuckle Almond Fun Run/Walk will be held Sunday, March 17 at Pierce High School. The 5K event is hosted by the Arbuckle Fun Run for Education Committee. This year’s event is in honor of Perla Rabena, Pierce High School counselor, who is bravely fighting cancer. All proceeds of the run/walk registration will go to fund college visits for students. Pre-register before March 8 for $15 ($20 after or on race day); Student runner $10; Virtual runner $15 (before March 16). WCCA St. Patrick’s Dinner
Williams Community Center Association, 860 C Street, will host a St. Patrick’s Day dinner fundraiser from 5-7 pm on Sunday, March 17. Dinner will include tasty, sliced corn beef and sides of potatoes, cabbage, carrots, Irish soda bread, and dessert. Green beer and Irish coffee will be available for purchase. Tickets are $20 per person; $10 for kids 12 and under. To-go dinners will be available, and a silent dessert auction will be held. Come join the fun.

Colusa County Behavioral Health will host a free Yoga glass at the Colusa County Library, 738 Market St., Colusa, with certified instructor Pamela Triggs. Class is 10-11 am on Wednesday, March 6. MPR Pancake Breakfast/Easter Egg Hunt
The community is invited to Pancake Breakfast and Community Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 23, at Maxwell Elementary School, 146 North St., hosted by the Maxwell Park and Recreation District and Auxiliary Committee. Breakfast of pancakes, sausage, fruit, coffee, and juice will be available for $8, and will be served from 7:30 to 9:30 am with the Easter Egg Hunt following at 10 am. All proceeds from the breakfast will support the MPR Scholarship Fund for high school seniors. Children and youth should arrive promptly for hunting Easter Eggs with their own baskets or bags. WCCA Youth Art Show
The Williams Community Center Association, 860 C Street, will once again host the Joan Holybee Memorial Youth Art Show on Saturday, April 13, 10 am to 2 pm. The art show is open to all 7-12 grade students from Colusa County. Deadline for submissions will be Monday, April 8. Please label your pieces on the back with name, school, and grade. Turn your pieces in to your teacher or your school’s front office. There will be cash prizes for First, Second, Third and Best of Show. All types of art media are welcome!
