Boy Scout Pancake Breakfast
Boy Scout Troop 5 and Pack 5 will hold their annual Pancake Breakfast from 8 am to 11 am on Saturday Feb. 24, at the Colusa Scout Cabin, 9th and Parkhill Street. Donation $10. Help send a Scout to camp.
Boy Scout Fun Drive
Boy Scout Troop 5 and Pack 5 will be holding a Fun Drive from 8 am to noon on Saturday, Feb. 24. Scouts will be collecting gently used clothes, shoes, and accessories, linens, toys, small household goods. Please drop off your contribution at the Colusa Scout Cabin, 9th and Parkhill Street.
Risograph Printmaking Workshop
A Risograph Printmaking Workshop will be held from 1-4 pm on Saturday, Feb. 24, at the Colusa County Arts Council, 151 Fifth St., Colusa. This environment-focused printmaking workshop is free and open to the public. A second session of this class designed for kids will be held in March. Funded in part by the California Arts Council, a state agency, through the Upstate California Creative Corps program. Seating is limited; register and learn more at colusa-county-arts.org.
Music at the Museum
The Pierce High School and Junior High School bands will appear on the Sacramento Valley Museum’s historic stage at 6 pm, Saturday, Feb. 24. Join the Museum for an evening of music, entertainment, and refreshments, 1491 E St., Williams. There is no cost to attend the concert but donations for the band will be accepted.

Dementia and Alzheimer’s Support Group Meeting
The Dementia and Alzheimer’s Caregiver Support Group will meet from 10:30 am to noon on Feb. 27 (last Wednesday of each month), in the Fireside Room located next to the First Presbyterian Church, 326 Jay St., Colusa. Author’s Evening at Library
The Friends of the Colusa County Free Library will host Santa Cruz author Buzz Anderson at 6:30 pm on Thursday, Feb. 29, at the Colusa Branch Library, 731 Market St., Colusa. Anderson will speak about his historical novel “Five Hundred Moons,” which intertwines three powerful stories in an epic tale of love and survival that forces readers to imagine what life was like during the first half-century of Spanish colonization in California, not only for the colonizers but the indigenous Ohlone people native to Central California’s coast and inland valleys.

Assembly of God Bake Sale
The Colusa Assembly of God has rescheduled its bake sale from this Saturday to 10 am to 2 pm on Saturday, March 2, at Sav Mor Market, 1017 Bridge St., in the Town and Country Shopping Center, in Colusa, to raise money for their Annual Easter Egg Hunt. Please come out and help support their community outreach.
Anything But Animals Still Exhibit
Registration is open for the annual 4-H Anything But Animals Still Exhibits Day, which will be held from 8:30 am to 1 pm at Maxwell Elementary School, 146 North St., Maxwell. This event is open to all 4-H’ers and allows youth to exhibit a variety of entries such as arts and crafts, woodworking, table settings, and baked goods. Youth are evaluated on their craft exhibit, as well as a spoken presentation of the items. Pre-Registration is required. Each entry requires a separate registration and each need to have a card filled out. Cards can be picked up at the 4-H office or emailed to you prior to the event.
