Community Christmas Choir
The Community Christmas Choir will perform on Friday, Dec. 8, at the Grimes Community Church, 350 Main St. (Highway 45), Grimes. The concert is free and will begin at 7 pm. The public is invited to enjoy a mix of old and new Christmas anthems and sing-along carols, followed by light refreshments.
Donations will be gratefully accepted after each concert to assist the needy in

Festival of Lights Parade
The Williams Parks and Recreation Department will host the annual Festival of Lights from 4 pm to 8 pm on Saturday, Dec. 9. Vendor Fair, Lighting of Town Tree, Parade, and Santa at the Fire Hall.

Maxwell Country Christmas
The seventh annual Maxwell Country Christmas, hosted by Maxwell Park and
Recreation District and Auxiliary, will begin with a Vendor Fair from 5-8 pm
in downtown Maxwell; Lighted Tractor Parade at 6 pm. Events include tree lighting, food and hot chocolate, and MPR Auxiliary raffle (You need not be present to win). Free Yuletide Dinner
The public is invited to enjoy the free Yuletide Dinner on Christmas Day, Dec.
25 at Trinity United Methodist Church. The dinner will be served from noon to
