Library to Host Members Only Presale Event
The Friends of the Colusa County Free Library is thrilled to announce an exclusive Members
Only presale event, “A Merry Mocktail Evening,” scheduled for 6 pm on Monday, Dec. 4, at
the Colusa Branch Library, 738 Market St.
This special event offers the organization’s members an opportunity to browse and select
from a delightful array of carefully curated books before the public sale kicks off.
Attendees will have the first pick of hidden gems, literary treasures, and holiday favorites
to add to their personal collections. Explore an assortment of books spanning various genres, ensuring there’s something for every literary taste.
Immerse yourself in the holiday spirit with “A Merry Mocktail Evening,” and enjoy the
warmth of the season as you peruse the Friends of the Library’s offerings and indulge in delicious food and beverages specially prepared for new and esteemed members.

County Offers Free Tire Disposal
Colusa County is pleased to announce that it will host a free tire disposal event for
all county residents on Saturday, Dec. 2, from 8 am to 2 pm at Colusa County Road
Department, 5714 E Street, Williams.
This event is open to all county residents and provides an opportunity to dispose of old
tires in an environmentally friendly manner. Residents are encouraged to bring in their used
passenger car or truck tires, without rims, during this free event. Participants may bring in
up to nine tires for free recycling.

This event is sponsored by Colusa County and the Rural Counties’ Environmental
Services Joint Powers Authority, funded by a grant from the Department of Resources
Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle).
