The Colusa County Board of Supervisors has reappointed Darrin Williams, from District 1, and Jeff Moresco, from District 5, to the Colusa County Groundwater Commission to serve four-year terms effective Jan. 3, 2023 until Jan. 4, 2027. Williams and Moresco were last appointed on Jan. 1, 2019.
The Colusa County Board of Supervisors has reappointed Barbara Rolen to the Williams Cemetery District to serve a four-year term effective Jan. 25, 2023 until Jan. 24, 2027. Rolen was last appointed on June 8, 2021 to serve the remainder of an unexpired term. Rolen served as Chair of the board last year.
The board reappointed Robert G. Wilson, III, to the Colusa County Behavioral Health Board to serve a three-year term effective Jan. 9, 2023 until Jan. 8, 2026. Wilson was last appointed on Jan. 10, 2020.
The Board of Supervisors has appointed the 2023 Colusa County Planning Commissioners for a one-year term, effective Feb. 1, 2023 until Jan. 31, 2024. The Planning Commissioners are David M. McCullough (District 1), Heath Krug (District 2), John J. Troughton, Jr. (District 3), Kirk Pendleton (District 4), and Elizabeth Yerxa (District 5). All members have served on the Planning Commission prior; McCullough has served since Feb. 1, 2018; Krug has served since Feb. 1, 2022; Troughton, Jr. has served since Feb. 1, 2021; Pendleton has served since July 30, 2019; and Yerxa has served since Feb. 1, 2022.
The Board of Supervisors has reappointed Laurie Waters to the Colusa Cemetery District Board effective Jan. 27, 2023 until Jan. 26, 2027. Waters was first appointed on Aug. 31, 2021 to serve the remainder of an unexpired term. Tom Reische has also been appointed to serve the remainder of an unexpired term of Janice Bell, effective Jan. 17, 2023 until Dec. 8, 2025.
There were four seats available on the Colusa Cemetery Board and currently did not have the quorum required to conduct business, so these appointments are critical for the District to function, officials said.â–
