The Colusa County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday reappointed Rande Brookins to the Sacramento River Fire District to serve a four-year term, until Nov 3, 2026. Brookins has been associated with Sac River Fire District since 1973 as a firefighter until the mid 1980s, and held a director term for two years.
The Board of Supervisors also reappointed Allen Gobel and Thomas Hickok to the Resource Conservation District to serve four-year terms, until Nov 25, 2026. Gobel was last appointed on Feb 18, 2020, and Hickock was last appointed on Nov 30, 2018.
The Board also appointed Associate Director Ben King to serve the Colusa County Resource Conservation District board for a four-year term.
Aside from the three appointments, a partial-term director vacancy still exists on the RCD board. The term ends in Nov 2024. The directors and Board of Supervisors will be recruiting interested parties to apply for the position. â–
