The Colusa County Board of Supervisors last week approved vendor contracts for tree trimming services.
The Colusa County Department of Public Works requested bids to establish a list of vendors for trimming services on an as-needed basis. This year, the request for bids was for a five-year term.
Three bids were received, officials said, but one was deemed non-responsive. The board awarded contracts to two responsive bidders, Apex Enterprises and West Coast Arborist.
Public Works has included funds within their budget for these services as needed, but not to exceed $100,000 per contract. â–
