Book party time pushed up

Colusa County Arts County has rescheduled tonight’s reception for the launch of “If the Walls Could Talk,” the long-awaited reprint of Jane Carter’s iconic book about Colusa’s colorful architectural history. The reception tonight, Oct. 6, will be held from 4:30-6:30 PM due to the rescheduling of a candidates forum to the same evening. The reception will be held at the Art Council studio, 151 Fifth St., Colusa, and books will be available for purchase for $100. The reprinting “If the Walls Could Talk,” which has new indexes, was a Colusa Heritage Preservation Commission project. Those who reserved copies with a down payment may pay the balance and pick up their books at the Arts Council reception or by contacting Jim White at (530) 458-2227. ■
