NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
RESOLUTION 22-033
RESOLUTION OF INTENTION OF THE COLUSA COUNTY
BOARD OF SUPERVISORS TO ADOPT A MERGER ORDINANCE
WHEREAS, Government Code Section 66451.21 specifies that prior to the adoption of a merger ordinance, a city or county not having a merger ordinance on January 1, 1984, the legislative body shall adopt a resolution of intention to adopt a merger ordinance and fix a time and place for a public hearing on the proposed ordinance; and
WHEREAS, County does not currently have a merger ordinance and this resolution of intention has been prepared to comply with Government Code Section 66451.21 to allow the Board of Supervisors to consider the adoption of a merger ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board will hold a public hearing to consider the adoption of a merger ordinance at 9:30 am or soon thereafter on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 in the Board Chambers at 546 Jay Street, Suite 108 Colusa, CA 95932 and that at the hearing all interested persons will be heard.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board Clerk shall cause the public hearing to be published in the manner prescribed by Government Code Section 6061 at least seven days prior to the date of the hearing and the notice shall contain the text of the resolution; state the time and place of the hearing; and state that at the hearing all interested persons will be heard.

AYES: Supervisors Kent S. Boes, Denise J. Carter,
Gary J. Evans and J. Merced Corona
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Supervisor Daurice K. Smith.
