The Colusa County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday ratified an agreement with Municipal Resource Group to provide Human Resource Services until a new director can be found.
Colusa County hired HR Director Jolene Church in February 2021. She resigned effective June 30.
Colusa County Chief Administrative Officer Wendy Tyler received direction from the board in closed session during a special meeting on June 30 to see that HR services are provided to begin recruitment of several critical positions that need filling.
MR Group has selected Darlene Roberts to serve at the helm of the department until a permanent HR director can be found.
The contract is not to exceed $95,000, which is funded by general fund savings that would have otherwise been paid to Church. ■
