The City of Colusa is looking to its local businesses and individuals to help create “magical celebrations, experiences, and memories for the community” that generate positive economic results and enhance the quality of life for all residents.
The City is bringing back the popular Taco festival as well as a music festival (former Country in Colusa), but “re-imagined” to serve residents better and fit the Colusa lifestyle, officials said.
To make the events and programs successful, the city is looking for community sponsorships.
The second annual Taco Fest will be held Aug. 6. The city is looking for Presenting Sponsors of $10,000; Partnering Sponsors of $5,000; and donations of any amount. Rockin’ on the River, as the music festival planned for September is called this year, is looking for Presenting Sponsors of $20,000; Partnering Sponsors of $5,000; and in-kind donations of any amount. Donations are also accepted for recreation programs and Concerts in the Park.
A donation acceptance form can be obtained at Colusa City Hall. Call (530) 458-4941 for more information. ■
