The Colusa County Board of Supervisors in April recognized the lengthy service of Gail Beduhn on the Colusa County Planning Commission. Beduhn was appointed in 1991 and stepped down after 31 years of dedicated service to the citizens of Colusa County. Beduhn donated nearly 2,000 hours of her time to the position and has been involved in numerous decisions throughout her tenure. Supervisor Denise Carter requested the certificate of appreciation be presented to Beduhn, in recognition of her many years of service to Colusa County.
“Ms. Beduhn has been the voice of reason and a steady, calming influence, particularly during difficult conversations, during the hundreds of hours of Commission meetings that she participated in,” the Board said.
Beduhn has read over 50,000 pages of planning related documents and attended over 330 meetings. ■
