The Colusa County Board of Supervisors on May 3 approved the purchase of computer equipment for Health and Human Services from NWN Corporation using a state contract in the amount of $55,590.21. The Department of Health and Human Services requested to upgrade their equipment because their current equipment has been without warranty and without vendor support since June 2020, officials said.
The computer equipment is budgeted and paid for by the Statewide Automated Welfare System Project. County officials said the equipment would be advantageous to all social service programs that DHHS provides and manages. The staff would also benefit with the ability to access critical CalSaws and County applications, stored client data, and the County network.
