It was a full house on Thursday for Arbuckle tots in the 10-week Raising a Reader program with Colusa County Literacy Coordinator Pam DaGrossa. The program allows kids from birth to age 5 to play, read, and bond with other children. The Raising a Reader program fosters healthy brain development and motivates families to read aloud with their children to help them develop early literacy skills. The program includes a weekly rotating book program that at the end will provide books for families to establish home libraries.
