The Colusa County Sheriffs Department continues its investigation into the death of 28-year-old, Arbuckle resident, Ana Cristina Rodriguez Paez.
” We are still investigating the case and awaiting the results from the toxicology and autopsy reports,” said Lt. Neil Pearson.
According to sheriffs report, Paez became missing during a family fishing trip with her husband and small child, on Tuesday, July 15, 2014, just outside Grimes.
Paezs body was located in a canal, near where she was initially reported missing.
According to sheriffs deputies, Paez, her husband and their child were out fishing just south of Grimes when she became missing.–Â
