Opposing view to expanding Berryessa
My farming family arrived in Glenn/Colusa County in 1850. I agree we must be good stewards of the land and preserve our history and environment; however, the government now owns 640 million acres of this Nation.
President Biden, with his 30×30 plan, will be adding land the size of the Louisiana Purchase to it. You cannot support our economy by giving land to the government, even grazing land.
Private entities preserve and manage land much better than the government because they are thinking of future generations.
The Tribe could consider buying or leasing the property.
