Frances was born Christmas Day 1932 in Trinadad, Colorado. She met her husband, Alfred Reusser at Maxwell Elementary School and enjoyed a lifetime love affair.
Frances and Alfred were married on June 24, 1951, Marilyn and Tony Azevedo of Maxwell were Best Man and Matron on Honor. They ran the family dairy in Delevan and maintained close ties to the local Swiss community. Her beloved husband died in 1994 at the age of 63.
Frances was active in the Maxwell Methodist church and very active with the Colusa County Young Republicans. She developed lasting friendships and relationships with all the extended families. She moved to Eureka, CA to live with her daughter in 2018.
Frances was born to Viva (Wise) and Gordon Stephens and was one of eight brothers and sisters. She is survived by her brother Dennis Stephens of Colusa and daughter Dianne Reusser-Nelson of Eureka, CA and four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
She enjoyed a long and successful life of love and friendship. Now begins the next phase of her journey to be reunited with her beloved Al and those that have gone before her. She will be dearly missed.
