Community Resources – Find Food
The North State Food Bank Emergency Food Assistance Program will distribute commodities from 10 a.m. to noon Feb. 25 at Maxwell Parks and Recreation, 64 Oak St., Maxwell; from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Feb. 26 at the Colusa Scout Cabin, 901 Parkhill St., Colusa; from noon to 1 p.m. Feb. 26 at the Williams Family Action Center, 499 Marguerite St., Williams; from 11 a.m. to noon Feb. 27 at the Grimes Scout Cabin, 15 S. Fourth St., Grimes; and March 2 at the Arbuckle Family Action Center, 812 King St., Arbuckle.
The Arbuckle Family Action Center, 812 King St., will host a drive through food distribution at 11 a.m. Feb. 26. CalFresh drop in assistance is available weekly on Mondays to help individuals obtain information, check eligibility or apply for benefits. Seniors 60 and older who are pre registered may pick up CSFP senior food boxes at 11 a.m. March 10 during the drive through event at the center.
The Williams Family Action Center, 315 Ninth St., offers CalFresh drop in assistance weekly on Mondays. A TEFAP food distribution drive through will be held at 10 a.m. Feb. 26 on a first come, first served basis. Seniors 60 and older who are pre registered may pick up CSFP senior food boxes at 10 a.m. March 10 at the CCOE Education Village Multipurpose Room.
North Valley Community Food Bank will hold its monthly distribution from 9 to 11 a.m. Feb. 28 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 355 Oak St., Colusa.
