Colusa Assembly of God will host a bake sale on Saturday, Feb. 14, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Sav Mor in Colusa. The sale will feature a wide variety of homemade treats, with proceeds benefiting the church’s eighth annual Easter Egg Hunt.

Chess for All
The City of Colusa Recreation will host a Chess for All Kickoff Conversation on Sunday, Feb. 15, at 11 a.m. at Colusa City Hall, 425 Webster St. The free, all ages event invites kids, parents, families, and community members to learn about plans for chess classes, tournaments, and league play in Colusa. A bilingual instructor will be available, boards will be set up for casual play, and attendees are encouraged to share input as the program is developed. Spanish will be spoken.

Prune Growers Meeting
The University of California Cooperative Extension will host the 2026 South Sacramento Valley Prune Grower Meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 18, at the Sutter County Veterans Hall in Yuba City. The meeting begins at 8:15 a.m. and will feature research updates, regulatory information, and industry presentations focused on prune production and management. California Department of Pesticide Regulation continuing education hours will be available. There is no cost to attend. Lunch will be provided and sponsored by the California Prune Board. Colusi Historical Society Annual Luncheon
All are invited to attend the annual presentation and luncheon of the Colusi County Historical Society on Saturday, Feb. 21, at noon in Friendship Hall at the Trinity United Methodist Church, 511 Oak St. in Colusa. This year’s speaker will be Charles Price of Pacific Gas and Electric Company, who will discuss the history of energy in Colusi County, from early agricultural uses and electric train service in the early 1900s to the 660 megawatt Colusa Generating Station that came online in 2010. Holiday Topper Dinner and Dance
The Glenn Colusa CattleWomen and Cattlemen will host their 34th Holiday Topper Dinner and Dance Fundraiser on Saturday, Feb. 21, 2026, at the Colusa County Fairgrounds Main Exhibit Hall. Cocktails begin at 6 p.m., with dinner served at 7 p.m. The evening includes a prime rib dinner prepared by Cow Camp Catering, a silent auction, and dancing to the Whiskey River Band. The City of Colusa, Colusa County Chamber of Commerce, and Butte College Small Business Development Center will host a free business planning workshop on Tuesday, Feb. 24, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Colusa City Hall, 425 Webster St. The two hour training is designed to help entrepreneurs create or revise a clear, focused business plan that supports growth and profitability. The session will guide participants through shaping their ideas into a roadmap that speaks to lenders, investors, and partners. The Class of 2026 will host a Crab Feed Grad Night Fundraiser on Saturday, Feb. 28, at the Colusa Fairgrounds Main Eshibit Hall, 1391 10th St., in Colusa. Williams Community Center FreeCycle
