Community Technology Workshop
A community technology workshop will be held Saturday, Feb. 7, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Colusa Masonic Lodge, 311 Fifth St., at the corner of Fifth and J streets. Volunteers will assist with basic technology questions involving phones, email, laptops, social media, and online safety, including tips on avoiding scams.

Veteran Super Bowl Potluck Party
Colusa VFW Post #2441 will host a Super Bowl potluck party for all Colusa County veterans and veteran families on Sunday, February 8, 2026. Doors open at 1 p.m., with kickoff at 3:30 p.m. Attendees are invited to bring their favorite Super Bowl dish to share; BYOB. Join fellow veterans and families for the game, food, games, and camaraderie.

Caregivers Support Group Meeting
The Caregivers Support Group for those caring for individuals with Dementia/Alzheimer/Parkinson’s Disease will meet from 10 am to 11:30 am on the Second Wednesday of every month at the First Presbyterian Church, 326 Jay St., Colusa. The meetings are confidential and are open to all who are interested.
Colusa VFW Monthly Meeting
The Colusa VFW Post #2441 meets the second Wednesday of each month. Dinner is served at 6 p.m., and a business meeting is held at 7 p.m. New members are welcome to join, just inquire or send an email to ColusaVFW@gmail.com. For hall rental please call (530) 701-9413. Colusa VFW Post #2441 is a non-profit veterans organization serving the veterans and citizens of Colusa County.
After School STEAM Club
A STEAM After School Club will be offered for children ages 6 to 12, featuring hands on building challenges, crafts, and science experiments. The program will be held Wednesdays from Feb. 11 through March 18, from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the Arbuckle Library, and Wednesdays from March 25 through April 29, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the Williams Library. The free program encourages creativity and problem solving through science, technology, engineering, art, and math activities.

Bake Sale
Colusa Assembly of God will host a bake sale on Saturday, Feb. 14, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Sav Mor in Colusa. The sale will feature a wide variety of homemade treats, with proceeds benefiting the church’s eighth annual Easter Egg Hunt.

Chess for All
The City of Colusa Recreation will host a Chess for All Kickoff Conversation on Sunday, Feb. 15, at 11 a.m. at Colusa City Hall, 425 Webster St. The free, all ages event invites kids, parents, families, and community members to learn about plans for chess classes, tournaments, and league play in Colusa. A bilingual instructor will be available, boards will be set up for casual play, and attendees are encouraged to share input as the program is developed. Spanish will be spoken.

Colusi Historical Society Annual Luncheon
All are invited to attend the annual presentation and luncheon of the Colusi County Historical Society on Saturday, Feb. 21, at noon in Friendship Hall at the Trinity United Methodist Church, 511 Oak St. in Colusa. This year’s speaker will be Charles Price of Pacific Gas and Electric Company, who will discuss the history of energy in Colusi County, from early agricultural uses and electric train service in the early 1900s to the 660 megawatt Colusa Generating Station that came online in 2010. Registration is available online at http://colusi.com/events/2026-annual-meeting-and-luncheon. Cost is $30 for Historical Society members and $35 for non members, which includes lunch.
Holiday Topper Dinner and Dance
The Glenn Colusa CattleWomen and Cattlemen will host their 34th Holiday Topper Dinner and Dance Fundraiser on Saturday, Feb. 21, 2026, at the Colusa County Fairgrounds Main Exhibit Hall. Cocktails begin at 6 p.m., with dinner served at 7 p.m. The evening includes a prime rib dinner prepared by Cow Camp Catering, a silent auction, and dancing to the Whiskey River Band. Grad Night Crab Feed
The Class of 2026 will host a Crab Feed Grad Night Fundraiser on Saturday, Feb. 28, at the Colusa Fairgrounds Main Eshibit Hall, 1391 10th St., in Colusa. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. The evening will include a crab feed, live auction, and raffle to support Grad Night activities. Single tickets are $65, and sponsor tables seating eight are available for $600. Williams Community Center FreeCycle
The Williams Community Center Association will host a FreeCycle event Saturday, Feb. 28, from 8:30 a.m. to noon at 860 C St. in Williams. Bring items you don’t want any more and take any new “treasures” home for free.
