A bench warrant in the amount of $50,000 was issued Monday for the arrest of Kaleb Jackson, 38, of Clearlake Oaks, for failure to appear in Colusa County Superior Count on April 18 for a trial readiness conference. Jackson is facing a single felony charge alleging the unlawful taking of a vehicle from the owner who was using the ATM machine in Williams on Jan 26, 2020. The case has had multiple stops and starts, with Jackson changing private attorneys multiple times since his arrest. Colusa County Superior Court Judge Jeffrey A. Thompson vacated the trial set for June 23 after Jackson’s attorney asked to be relieved from the case because his client has failed to maintain contact. â–
